"This is one of the most interesting WWII books you will ever read. Rather than lead you through the air war with facts, maps, and figures, Harry Conley tells about his experience in the war from a intensely personal perspecitve. The most fascinating aspect of the story is that interspersed throughout the book at Harry's letters to his mother. From the stories of air warfare and fooling around in their off time, you get to know the characters involved. Highly recommended read!"
